Cyber Awareness Month

Welcome to Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CAM) in October! Our (ISC)2 Hawaii Chapter has always led the way with celebrating CAM and for this year, we’re officially a CAM Champion Organization (LINK)! We look forward to sharing cyber safety tips as we celebrate cybersecurity with our community!

For this year, we will be hosting the following cybersecurity events and activities:

Garfield ‘Safe and Secure Online” Presentations at our Public Libraries

The Safe and Secure Online Parents presentation topics include cyberbullying, social media, sexting, geotagging, and tips and best practices for your family (LINK).

Oct 29 (Sat) – Library System – Statewide (2-3pm) (Virtual)

Cyber Safety at our Shopping Centers

The (ISC)2 Hawaii Chapter Cyber Exhibit table will be at our shopping centers to share cyber safety information to keep Hawaii’s community safer and more secure when connected. Come visit us!

Oct 29 – Kahala Mall (10am-3pm)

CyberGenerations Workshops for Kupuna (~4 hours)

The CyberPatriot CyberGenerations workshop is designed to equip kupuna with the knowledge needed to stay protected from cyber-crimes (LINK). Come learn about cyber safety basics.
