Secretary

Tim Minick is the Director of Information Technology for Pacific Guardian Life where he is responsible for IT operations and SecOps.  He worked previously as Executive Director of MorphIT, an executive IT management and security consulting service provider, and has been a lecturer at Hawaii Community College on Ethical Hacking. 

He earned his Masters of Science in Information Technology Management from the University of Liverpool, his AS in Digital Equipment Technology from Washtenaw College, and has studied business management & finance and mechanical engineering at Schoolcraft College and Eastern Michigan University.  He holds certifications in IT security (Certified Information System Security Professional) and project management (PRINCE2 Foundation).

Tim is a member of the University of Hawaii/Hawaii Community College Information Technology Program Advisory Committee, and an active member of CyberHawaii, contributing as a panelist and advisor.
